About

Role: Lead Designer I crafted the design for Ōura’s infographics and blogs, bringing together real photos of people wearing the ring, app screenshots, graphs, custom icons, and plenty of text. With so much information to share, balancing all these elements was key to making the infographics feel clear and inviting. The goal was to help people easily picture themselves using the product while keeping the visuals lively and relatable. The process focused on creating a smooth flow that tells a simple story. By blending authentic consumer photos with helpful information and engaging visuals, the collaterals ended up being not just educational but also something people actually want to explore.

Challenge

The goal was to showcase the Oura Ring’s impressive range of features in a way that feels simple and engaging. There was a lot of valuable information to share, so the challenge was to develop a visual approach that helps users and potential buyers quickly understand the benefits of the product. This was especially important because the content often appeared in formats like blogs that tend to be text-heavy. The design needed to catch the eye, break down complex ideas, and make it easy for people to absorb the key points without feeling overwhelmed. Finding that balance between information and visual appeal was essential to keeping viewers interested and making the content enjoyable to explore.

Result

Creating visuals for blogs, including infographics and images, helped simplify and strengthen Oura’s storytelling. Two infographics were developed: one highlighting key features with text and images, and another using custom illustrations and concise text to explain complex info clearly. These visuals made detailed data easy to understand while adding clarity and consistency to the brand’s message. Each project was a rewarding challenge in balancing hierarchy and design.
